DESCRIPTION
Some pieces reward those who look closely. We made these for women who appreciate the quiet work in an object. First we form the teardrop shape from a single copper wire. Then we wind the lower half tightly, coil by coil, until the whole section is covered and the piece has found its form.
For thousands of years, people have worn copper close to the skin because they seek something steady and flowing in life. Those who return to us often say it simply feels right, without wanting to explain it further.
These are some of the last earrings before our workshop closes for good. We hope they find ears that notice the details.

A MESSAGE FROM LUMA & REED
⚠️ Beware of imitations
As Luma & Reed becomes more and more popular, products may appear elsewhere that look very much like mine. Watch out for cheaper, mass-produced copies: they rarely match the quality of materials, finish and care for detail.
These are original pieces from my own collections. To be sure you get a genuine Luma & Reed piece, always buy here, on the official website.
